The title is somewhat deceptive, as it implies I have had a blog before, and I haven't. So this is my first ever post on my first ever blog! Don't you feel special reading it ;)
I thought I would just do one post so I knew how this worked, and also to give an update on my fundraising and preparations for going out to the Philippines. Fundraising wise, I am almost at the £2000 which is very exciting. I have one more fundraising event on 29th January which will be a Bargain Sale, and hopefully that will raise the remainder of what I need.
Right now I am trying to get my Passport sorted so that I can apply for a Visa and then when I get that I can book my plane tickets! I'm thinking that I'll probably be going out around 28th June and getting back 4th/5th August. I won't know for sure though until I know what tickets are available. Other than that, all there is to organise at the moment is my jabs! Today I had my second round of Hep B and my Typhoid which went fine.
Well, I think that's all from me for now. I doubt I'll be posting much until I am actually in the Philippines, so you'll just have to hold your horses...
